The Rhizon Soil Moisture Sampler, 5 cm is a precision sampling tool designed for reliable collection of dissolved soil solution in the unsaturated zone. Made from hydrophilic porous PES membrane with a stainless-steel strengthening wire (Type SMS), each sampler preserves the original soil chemistry while allowing water and solutes to pass through with minimal disturbance.
This set of 10 samplers comes complete with 10 cm PVC tubes, male connectors, and protective caps, making installation quick and convenient. Compact at 5 cm length and Ø 2.5 mm, the samplers can be placed horizontally or vertically in soil and connected to a syringe or vacuum tube for extraction of nutrients, metals, DOC, and other dissolved components.
